The BCA Barnes Fair is our flagship BCA event - over 300 stalls, a fairground, two performance stages - a host of family fun!
The BCA Barnes Food Fair, the sister event to BCA’s longstanding Barnes Fair, is now an established event in the SW London foodie calendar
The event takes place in and around a large marquee on Barnes Green. Inside the marquee, there will be a carefully chosen selection of exhibitors selling speciality food and drink to sample and take away. In the outside street food area, you will be able to enjoy freshly cooked food from around the world to enjoy whilst listening to live music playing on the Bandstand all day.
BCA was delighted to support the Barnes Foodbank in 2024. Part of the Trussell Trust network, this local facility operates out of Castelnau Community Centre on Friday mornings and provides an increasing number of families with emergency provisions and also practical support and advice. Email foodbank@htbarnes.org for details.
If you are interested in becoming a stallholder at the 2025 BCA Barnes Food Fair, find more details here: https://www.barnes-ca.org/food-fair-stallholder-applications
Details of 2024 exhibitors are below to give you a flavour of what was on offer…
GETTING HERE - The Fair is held on Barnes Green, London SW13. Please note that the traffic is heavy in Barnes and the surrounding areas on Food Fair Day. The easiest way to approach Barnes Food Fair is by train to Barnes Station or Barnes Bridge – both are about a 10 minute walk.
CONTRACTORS/EXHIBITORS - Instead of Hammersmith Bridge, you will need to drive over Chiswick Bridge or Putney Bridge to reach Barnes. There is limited parking in the side streets around the Green.
VISITORS – Please note that we are unable to welcome your canine companions into the Fair - dogs will not be admitted.
If you have any further questions, please email Charlotte at Charlotte@barnes-ca.org
A huge thank you to Caroline Silver-Lewis, who has taken these pics on previous Food Fair days.

BCA is excited to offer two separate free workshops in conjunction with Kew Gardens on Friday 25 April, 1–3pm and Sunday 27 April, 2–4pm at Rose House.
Nature, memory and creativity
Connect to nature creatively and reminisce with Kew Gardens in our hands-on arts session. Nature means so much to us, and the sights, sounds, and smells of nature can bring back powerful memories. Perhaps the crunch of autumn leaves reminds you of going back to school, or the smell of freshly mown grass reminds you of lazy summer afternoons. Reminiscence activities are designed to spark memories, encourage conversation, and create meaningful connections as you create your own nature artwork to take away with you. This can help boost your confidence and wellbeing, too!
We would particularly like to welcome our older members, and those who have not visited Kew Gardens before. Friends, family or support workers are welcome to join you too.
Please let us know if you have any access requirements, we would be happy to make any adjustments to ensure you can join us.
This free event is for BCA members but places are limited – email membership@barnes-ca.org to reserve a place. RSVP by Thursday 24 April.
We’re sad to say goodbye to the beloved BCA Duck Race, but don’t worry—the ducks are still about in Barnes! This year, we’re launching the BCA Easter Duck Hunt.
