The 11th annual BCA Turkey Run, in memory of Leyla Hutchings, will take place on Sunday 6 December 2026. Participants are invited to run a 10k along the towpath - festive fancy dress is encouraged! The popular Tiny Turkeys 1-mile fun run for under 12’s is also back this year. As with last year, we’re focusing on the 10k run only, so there will be no 10 mile route.
Registration opens at 9am at Coach & Horses where bags can also be dropped. The 10k race starts at 10am, at Small Profits Dock, with the children’s run starting shortly after that. The race is adjudicated by Barnes Runners. Winners will be announced later that morning at the Coach & Horses.
Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the BCA/FiSH Christmas Day lunch and festive meal deliveries for local residents as well as other BCA initiatives.
