Seed Exchange at Rose House

To celebrate the launch of our new floral art trail in partnership with Barnes Artists , we’ve introduced a new community seed exchange at Rose House complete with wildflower seeds ready for local residents to take home and plant. Whether you have a garden, balcony or window box we’d love for you to help bring more colour and pollinator-friendly planting to Barnes this summer.

The seed exchange is free to use. Alongside taking seeds, visitors are also encouraged to donate any spare packets or saved seeds they may have at home to help the exchange continue to grow. The seed exchange is part of our “Chelsea is in Bloom and so is Barnes” floral art trail, running from 16-23 May. During the week, floral-themed artwork created by talented Barnes-based artists will be displayed in local flower shops and greengrocers throughout Barnes.
