Book donations now open for Barnes Fair Book Stall

The Barnes Fair Book Stall is back, and donations are now being accepted for this year’s Fair.

Run as a fundraising initiative in support of Barnes District Girl Guides and the Barnes Community Association, the Book Stall is a long standing Fair favourite, offering visitors the chance to browse thousands of used books, CDs and computer games while raising money for two local organisations.

To help us stock the shelves, we are now collecting donations of:

• Books

• CDs

• Computer games

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept: textbooks, magazines, DVDs, videos tapes and vinyl records.

Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

• Chestertons, Barnes High Street (9am-6pm weekdays, 10am-4pm Saturday)

• Rose House (9:30am-1pm, weekdays only)

• The Coach & Horses (11am-11pm daily)

• From Monday 22 June: The Guide Hall, 9 Washington Road (9am-7pm weekdays only)
