Turkey Run Results 2025
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Turkey Run, in memory of our much loved and missed colleague and friend, Leyla Hutchings. Your participation helped support the BCA/FiSH Christmas Day lunch, festive meal deliveries, and other BCA initiatives. Below, you’ll find the results for this year’s event, including overall times and category winners. Congratulations to all the runners and thank you to everyone who volunteered, marshalled, timed, and cheered. We hope you’ll all join us again when the Turkey Run returns on Sunday 6 December 2026.
10k Results
Race Winners
Men’s 10k – James Leach - 34:26
Women’s 10k – Alice Riddell-Webster - 38:38
Both are NEW TURKEY RUN COURSE RECORDS - James improved the men’s mark by 17 seconds while Alice took nearly 2 minutes off the women’s best time. Huge congratulations to them both!
Congratulations also to the following runners who set new category records this year: Ed Pleeth, Ben Harkness, Lucy Rigg, Georgie Tatham, Rebecca Sageman, and Paul Giles.
A special extra mention to the undisputed Queen of the Turkey Run, Alice Riddell-Webster, for producing a staggering age-graded performance, and to our Tiny Turkeys who set off like absolute rockets before discovering that enthusiasm burns fuel faster than experience!
Apologies to runners 116, 144 and 160, who registered but were not recorded at the finish. And also to anyone who spots an error - the Turkey Run is delightfully unique, but that does make life a little more “interesting” for the timekeepers!
Course distance: approximately 9.3 km (non-certified) and this is the distance used to calculate pace data and WAVA scores.
Running categories used:
• MU18 – Male Under 18
• MS – Male Seniors (18–39)
• MV40 – Male Veterans (40–49)
• MV50 – Male Veterans (50–59)
• MV60 – Male Veterans (60–69)

• FS – Female Seniors (18–34)
