Advice for Stall Holders

All stalls will be marked out in advance of the fair and once you receive your information pack with your position marked on the map in the centre of the programme you will get an idea of your place.

Included in the information pack are coloured passes which relate to the coloured entrance points. Please show these to the traffic marshals at your particular entrance. If you need extras then the marshals will have spare ones. You will have also been sent a pass for the stall-holders car park.

You may set up on Fair Day as early as you like. For single stalls there will be a 6ft x 2ft trestle table in position. For a double stall there will be two of these in place. Either side of your trestles there is a space of 2ft. 6ins before your neighbour’s pitch begins. This means that a single stall has a frontage of 11ft and a double stall has a frontage of 17ft.    Forgive the fact that we are still dealing with imperial measurements but this is because the fair has been going for such a long time.

If you would like to bring a gazebo then most people find a 3 sq. metre one fits perfectly.

We ask that your stall is positioned at least a metre from the pathways. This is essential for emergency vehicles to pass and makes the whole fair a more pleasant experience for visitors as the pathways do not get blocked. We will be monitoring this closely and if you do not abide by this rule then unfortunately you will not be invited again.

Please take a look at our Barnes Fair Rules 2019 for further information.

We hope you have a happy and successful day at Barnes Fair.
