Barnes Food Fair, sponsored by Savills, will take place on Saturday 16 September, 10am-5pm, Barnes Green. Tickets are £5 each, free for Under 16’s. Barnes Food Fair is a BCA fundraising event. The nominated charity for 2017 is Barnes Methodist Church Roof Appeal.
We have over 100 food stands in a Grand Marquee and outside picnic area. In the Marquee you will find an eclectic selection of speciality and organic food, handmade cakes and chocolates and outside you can picnic on street food from India, Italy, Colombia, the Middle East and more. There’s also champagne and oysters to enjoy and beer from the new Barnes brewery, Jeffersons. Why not visit the cocktail tent hoste by Orange Pekoe, Barnes specialist tea shop? Live Music will be provided on the Bandstand all day.
We have a wonderful line-up of Cookery Demonstrations, sponsored by Gibson Young Solicitors, Putney. Cookery Demonstrations take place through the day at The OSO and this year’s line up features chefs from our favourite Barnes restaurants:
- Ian Salmon, the Head Chef of Rick Stein, Barnes.
- Paul Merrett, the Chef Director of The Victoria in East Sheen.
- Phil Howard, partner of Sonny’s Kitchen and now Head Chef at Elystan Street restaurant.
- Natasha Macaller, the Dancing Chef, completes the line up and she will be speaking about recipes from her new books on Spices and Vanilla.
