Barnes Fair 2019 update

There’s always plenty to see, do, buy, eat and drink at Barnes Fair and this year is no exception!

Together with the carousel and traditional fairground attractions, we have a full programme of live music and events taking place on the Bandstand and Events Stage. Many of Barnes’ favourite restaurants – including Rick Stein, The Brown Dog, The Treehouse and @Feast - have stands and will offer a delicious selection of food though the day. Barnes’ brewery Jeffersons have a beer tent and the BCA will be returning with their ever-popular Pimm’s stand.

NEW for 2019 is an animal-themed fancy dress parade which is open to all children under 11 and will be judged by BBC presenter Kate Silverton. Home-Start Richmond, Kingston & Hounslow, Barnes Fair’s nominated charity for 2019, will be helping us to organise this and we look forward to meeting the animals at 10am at the Bandstand.

And in addition to all this, there are almost 300 stalls to wander around selling everything from jewellery and gifts to handmade clothes for adults and children, plants, homewares and all kinds of unusual and original products.

Barnes Fair 2019 will take place on Saturday 13 July, 9.30am-5.30pm.

It is a FREE, community fundraising event organised by Barnes Community Association. Full listings of everything that is planned will be printed in this year’s Barnes Fair Programme which will be delivered to all households in Barnes at the beginning of July. If you would like to advertise in the Barnes Fair 2019 programme, contact Charlotte Sharpe Neal - prices start at £99 for a quarter page.
